media playback after sleeping

I have this weird issue where I'll sleep my computer, and when it resumes my media playback timing is off. Everything plays really fast at varying speeds. Sometimes 2x, sometimes 50x. It does this in both mpd and smplayer, with videos, mp3, flac, etc. If I restart the computer, it'll be normal again. Has anyone experience similar problems or know what might cause that?

Re: media playback after sleeping

I have a similar problem - when I pause a track in amarok2, and unpause it after a while, it starts skipping every 2 seconds.
I'm using amarok2 and pulseaudio.
Since I just did a fresh install yesterday, I still haven't figured it out if it does this on all files, or just some files.

I don't think its the same issue. I can pause without problems. This only occurs when I sleep the computer. It happens with flash videos as well. I'm not sure where to look to find the problem. The clock isn't screwed up.
