I am emulating Archlinux through VirtualBox on Ubuntu. I have just finished installing Xfce4, and it turns out that the mouse and the keyboard refuses to work inside the emulation. Being a complete newbie and having absolutely no idea on where the source of the problem is, I decided to follow the instructions on the Archlinux Wiki to configure my Xorg (where I got the idea to do that, no one will ever know...). It appears Xorg refuses to start when
# startx
is run, and outputs:
(EE) Failed to load module "vboxvideo" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "fbdev" (module does not exist, 0)
waiting for X server to shut down error setting MTRR (base = 0xe0000000, size 0x04000000, type = 1) Inappropriate ioctl for device (25)
I have no idea what this means, and whether it has anything to do at all with my mouse and keyboard problems in Xfce4.
As well, I just recently installed Xorg 1.7.6, which may mean that it is not properly configured.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe virtualbox uses an emulated video card. Let me see what I can find...
