I appear to be banned from #archlinux

When I try to say something, I get: #archlinux: cannot send to channel

And when I try to change my nick, it says #archlinux: Cannot change nickname while banned in channel

I've never said anything in the channel before this, so I'm definitely innocent... maybe my ISP's proxy got banned.

I'm connecting via bb219-74-26-93.singnet.com.sg. Could a channel op check if that IP is banned? Thanks!

you are not banned. is simple a quiet mode for all users that are not identified. Simple register your nickname and then identify and you are good.

the quiet mode is there because we had in the past some really nice/crap spam
