Problems with suspend/resume with ati radeon

Hello.

I have ATI Radeon 4650 (rv730). If I try to suspend the system and later resume, I got only a black screen and the system is unresponsive. This happened in Linux 2.6.32 and it happens in Linux 2.6.33. I'm using the "radeon" drivers. Any ideas why the system is unable to resume from suspend?

Suspend/resume worked in Ubuntu 9.10 so I suspect there's something wrong with the new X.Org. Or am I wrong?
