FireDTV C

Have anyone been able to get the FireDTV working with Arch? (not the floppy-version - the firewire one)

I don't know where to begin. Should I compile my own kernel to enable the driver or is it already there in newer versions?
Tried to just connect and start a scan with Kaffeine but could not find the device.
