compiz standalone.  Had tearing issues with openbox for some reason.
tilda, lxpanel... basically it.  I used one of the default themes in emerald, just with a blue shadow.

@Roline: it's real conky transparency. Make sure you have 1.8.0 installed (I got it from extra) and have these two lines (change the second value for the transparency):

own_window_argb_visual yes
own_window_argb_value 224

@diogovieira: I didn't code this, I found it somewhere on the crunchbang forums (and I made it one line smile ). I'll give you the original, so you can decide what to do with it:

Colours are clearly stolen from jasonwryan (many thanks!), and yes, the wallpaper seems to perfectly match them.

Re: April 2010 screenshots

Made the full switch to linux a few years back. Been distro hopping since. I keep coming back to Arch and I've totally bought into the Arch way. Finally here to stay.

Screenshot is of Dell mini hooked up to a external monitor.
tNDcxag

Setup:
Openbox - fan of the minimalist look
Conky - have it configured to always show on the mini screen for consistency.

Comments and suggestions welcome. Glad to share configs if interested.
