I updated OpenSSL and now pacman is all dicked up, how can I reinstall

I downloaded the 3.3.3 release of pacman in tarball, but when I ./configure it spits out an error that it needs libarchive.

PLEASE read and try to FIX/FILE BUGS instead of assuming other have/will.

I'm sure it's not that difficult to wget a pacman binary package, untar it and go from there... It's very helpful but it's not like people break pacman on a daily basis (if they do, they need to think about what they're doing).
