Having Trouble Installing Ubuntu Fonts

Yes, I did remove libxft cairo fontconfig freetype2 before attempting to install.  I just did a fresh install so maybe I forgot something because yesterday installing this worked fine

Any suggestions?

Looks like one of the patches are for a different version than the one you are trying to install.

enable-valid.patch is already applied by the Ubuntu patches.

I suggest you contact the maintainer of freetype2-ubuntu (see inside of PKGBUILD for email). And give him a smack for not even bothering to compile it before submitting it

Has it really been broken for 2 months, and no-one else has noticed??
