Wireless Not Working after upgrade

Hi, I've searched on the forum and haven't been able to find a solution.
A week ago or so I upgraded via pacman and now my wireless usb card "rt2500" isn't working anymore.  When I type ifconfig I only get "lo" and wlan0 doesn't display.  With iwconfig I get "lo" and "eth0" only.
Any idea how to fix this???

wlan0: direct probe to AP "MAC Address" (try 1)....
