Flickering with compiz enabled

Hi again!

I know this is old news but is there a way to fix the screen flickering with compiz enabled when watching movies and playing games ?

My graphics card is nvidia geforce go 6600 and i'm using gnome as DE .

Could just be Compiz itself.. It doesn't really like gaming and stuff, atleast in my experience. (<-- biased opinion)

My suggestion would be just to disable it, unless you absolutely require it for something.
