Chiptunes (all formats supported through modplug) stopped working, with both repo mpd and mpd-git, and I've reinstalled all the deps with no result. They play, but I get no sound.
mpd.conf:
music_directory "/home/johannes/Collection/Music"
playlist_directory "/home/johannes/.mpd/playlists"
db_file "/home/johannes/.mpd/mpd.db"
log_file "/home/johannes/.mpd/mpd.log"
pid_file "/home/johannes/.mpd/mpd.pid"
state_file "/home/johannes/.mpd/mpdstate"
user "johannes"
audio_output {
type "alsa"
name "MPD"
mixer_device "default"
}
Versions of all deps:
alsa-lib 1.0.22-1
audiofile 0.2.6-4
curl 7.20.0-4
faad2 2.7-1
ffmpeg-svn-custom 22855-1
flac 1.2.1-2
glib2 2.24.0-1
libao 1.0.0-1
libcdio 0.82-1
libid3tag 0.15.1b-4
libmad 0.15.1b-4
libmikmod 3.1.12-3
libmodplug 0.8.8-1
libmpcdec 1.2.6-2
libsamplerate 0.1.7-1
libshout 2.2.2-3
wavpack 4.60.1-1
zziplib 0.13.58-2
If it means something, I get this warning a lot while compiling mpd-git:
warning: cast discards qualifiers from pointer target type
I tried mpd --no-daemon -v, it doesn't print anything wrong.

Update: I downgraded libmodplug and now it works again.

For what it's worth, this issue seems to be fixed in libmodplug's latest source. I cobbled together a libmodplug-git package to try this out. If you use it now, though, you'll need to recompile mpd, because the libmodplug devs have bumped the soname.
