qtparted -X error

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

qtparted: cannot connect to X server :0.0

I get this error when trying to run qtparted as root.  Logging into a virtual console doesn't help either. Im using kde 3.4 and xorg.

Re: qtparted -X error

thanks IceRam that worked. What does that actually do? (xhost +localhost)

I still can't get the menu icon to work, only through the terminal. Any idea here?

Re: qtparted -X error

the "xhost +localhost" allows the localhost to connect to the X Server, although I don't know why such error was ocurring.
