Poor mans install

Hi,

Is it possible to get grub to boot an iso image?

Have read the thread on booting a usb device but I want image on my laptop so I can test new distro images [Archbang!]

With the aim to run from ram and possibly installing from there

I don't know how to boot Archbang specifically. I tried to boot Arch install CD but I couldn't do it. There is a thread on the forum somewhere discussing the subject.

Did this many years ago with Knoppix so thought I could try some retro linux action ...

As far as I know, this is not possible with all Images because they need to interprete some special boot options. Don't know whether it works with Arch Linux or not.
