Configure XDM to work as a X chooser.

Hello,

I have installed archlinux on a copule of computers (PC1 and PC2)
PC1: Normal workstation PC( Pentium IV, 1.5GB RAM, ...) running with kdemod.
PC2: Pentium II 256 MB RAM (so not a lot of resources)

In PC1, I have configured XDMCP.
PC2, has a fresh install of archlinux, with just base system, plus X, and it works ok.

I have installed xorg-xdm, and I want to configure it to allow to connect, both with a chooser to PC1, and locally when I later install some DE (openbox, or similar).

I can execute

X - indirect PC1

and, I get the chooser.

also, If I run:

xdm -nodaemon

I get the xdm login screen, but not the possibility to connect with XDMCP.

I can boot directly to the chooser modifying the xinit script, but I think it should be a better way.

Thanks in advance.
Angel.

Re: Configure XDM to work as a X chooser.

So, probably my question is not so easy to solve, but I bring it up again.
I hope someone with a good knowledge in this topics could help me.

Thanks in advance.
