No fsck.ntfs in ArchLinux

Hello, why there isn't fsck.ntfs (ntfsck) included with the ntfsprogs package like in other distributions? I looked around the forum and google and everywhere they're saying fsck.ntfs comes with ntfsprogs but I do have installed that package and I don't have the ntfsck program... Any ideas?

I looked this site and didn't find anything useful... only modules for some old kernels like 2.6.9, etc...
NVM I find ntfsfix that makes the same as fsck.ntfs

You didn't read it. They clearly state that there IS no fsck.ntfs. ntfsfix does NOT do chkdsk, it merely marks the HD so that windows will run chkdsk when you plug it into a windows machine.

ntfsck is also known as fsck.ntfs, and is a delightful member of the ntfsprogs package.

ntfsck is a small program that checks NTFS volumes for consistency. It is the GNU/Linux counterpart of chkdsk.

ntfsck is not yet available

In the meanwhile...

Use "ntfsresize -fi /dev/hdXY" to check your partition for errors, or use Windows' chkdsk..
