git

Hi to all! I hope I'm not in the wrong forum, if so please help me redirect! tongue

I'm trying to install my USR wireless card with a b43 chipset. I have followed the steps on the wiki carefully but when I run git to download the appropriate tools I am told that there is an error when loading libcrypto  ... no such file or directory.

Any ideas?!?
Thanks to all who read!

Re: git

Sounds like you have a partial updated system. Did you -Sy git or similar?

Btw, are you trying to use broadcom-wl? If so, try the b43 driver in the kernel instead. Most of the broadcom cards are supported with that driver in 2.6.33

Re: git

does git give you any errors if you try to use it by hand?
If it does give you an missing lib error, then the system is not fully up to date. In that case, us a cable if you can and -Syu

Re: git

I had the same problem yesterday when I installed git on a not fully updated system. You should run a pacman -Syu first.
