@arialis111: Nice one! What applications are those?
Specifically the application menu bar in the panel, the dock and the icons on the side?

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

Thanks.
Simply put them on the left, decrease size to 32 px minimum. All are activators so I can easily assign a custom icon.

What's the gtk/xfwm theme? I never found a theme that makes the panel look good....

I only read the entries concerning what I want the wm make _now_, not the whole manual every evening... This might be a wrong approach but it works.
Just for the record, this is my approach too.
BTW, it've taken a look to your configs and indeed they could be "easily" used as a base to build a complete fvwm desktop. Good work.
Ah, and I stole your piperead to add the clock in the main menu

As I don't have permission to release you can ask for the theme here: http://guiwhore.deviantart.com/art/April-23-161702840

Thanks Sam! I've not moved from dwm, though - just curious about how echinus works... It is much simpler to configure than dwm, but probably won't win me over.

Well after a lot of time with dwm and Xmonad, I hooked up with the second best WM (after Xmonad ) and best floating WM. The mighty FVWM
Nothing fancy. Simple and effective

I don't see how anything can be simpler to configure than dwm...

I'm still on evilwm. The idea to have a little htop window display time and basic system info was borrowed from DawiX.
I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!
