Ata1.00 error while installing

I got these errors since yesterday everytime I booted up, so I tried to reinstall Arch. Took 5 minutes before the cdrom started, and then got this screen while starting the install:

After install and rebooting I get this:

I've installed Arch twice before and never had any sort of these errors. So is my hard drive dying?

Moderator edit: if you do want to link pictures into your post use thumbnails instead of dumping full-blown screenshots in your post, thank you!

Re: Ata1.00 error while installing

I'd like to add that I have a similar problem. Identical to the first screenshot. Installed Arch before without issue, like you have, ninja. Is it the new kernel / archboot?
