Ok, so I'm now trying out ScrotWM, and am loving it, except for one minor detail. I want my statusbar to be on the bottom, but I can't seem to find out how. Can someone help me?

Is there an option in /etc/scrotwm.conf?
This may help:

I cannot find an option in scrotwm.conf
Also, statusbar configuration is for configuring the statusbar to show information, not for placement.

I don't think it's configurable (yet?). You might have to hack the C, or ask Marco, Ryan, or Derrin.

Probably not with the default statusbar but if you use dzen or other it can be locate at the bottom.

@n0dix: Definitely... You just don't get the workspace and layout info. dzen is very good; you could use both?

yeah, i think the workspace information is very important, the rest with dzen2.

You could probably have dzen overlap the default statusbar, leaving only the workspace info uncovered with some combination of the -ta, -x, -y and -w switches.

Thanks for all of your answers, but I think I will just have to live with my statusbar for now.

I am close to adding a bottom bar option. Awaiting the submitter to add the config and man page diff.
