If, say, one track is FLAC/vorbis and the next track is an MP3, the two tracks will not crossfade, period; if they are both MP3 or both FLAC crossfading works perfectly. I'm using mpd-pulse version 0.15.9 from the AUR. Does anyone know if this could be a problem with MPD's pulseaudio output, or with MPD itself, or if there's a possible way to finagle getting cross-format crossfading to work through the MPD configuration?
