Arch64 + nvidia + Gnome,

Hi,

I just installed a clean Arch64 system following the beginners guide. Everything appears to work fine except that while playing a movie in totem and moving the window, the video jerks and lags behind and slows down. The same happens when I open a menu in totem or change audio using the media keys on my keyboard thus showing the volume dialog in the middle of the screen.

Are there any settings I can use or configuration changes to improve desktop performance ?
