How to get mic on headset work?

I got this simple - not usb headset, and so far (on opensuse) was working great.After switch to arch can't get mic to work.
In alsamixer there is no volume control for headset .Sound card is Realtec ALC888 (hda intel) - from alsamixer.
Headset works ok on laptop,so it is not broken.
How to get this misc work?

Also did you make sure that alsamixer is displaying all devices? Press F4 to see capture devices and F5 to see all playback and capture devices.

Edit: I know it sounds noob, but I did it and couldn't figure out my soundcard for a week after switching from Ubuntu and being all GUI-ified.

I added those disabled modules,restarted, and got nothing!

I tried various combinations, but none worked.On laptop on "headphone" is volume ,and here is missing.Must say that sound is ok only mic is broken.

OT: Btw, those volumes cranked to full don't produce any awful clipping to you?

Yeah,I pulled it up and down so many times,got tired and just left it for now.
Mic is what I need most,and still can't get it to work.
