After installation, the screen goes black!

I installed Arch for the netinstall, installation was fine, but when I restart to get the post-install, I click on Arch linux on the grub and then start charging, but in the middle of the boot screen is all black and not leave this . Apparently the boot track, because if I click Ctrl + Alt + Del it restarts, but I can not do anything because it appears!

Does anyone know what might be happening?

What video card do you have?

Maybe it's KMS-related, so try to disable it by adding the proper parameter to the "kernel" line in your grub/menu.lst (you should have edited this file during install, at the end)

My card is an Intel GM965, Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook.

I have the same videocard, I was able to continue by adding vga=773 to my bootline.

is it just me, or did the recent update solve this. I can now boot without having to adjust the bootline.
