pcmanfm "dead" after 2nd double click

It's been a few days since I saw this behavior: whatever I do - browse folders, try to open files - after I first double click and enter a folder I cannot do the same the second time. Pcmanfm works, it's not being blocked, but I just can't use the mouse anymore. It works if I browse using the keyboard.

Anyone else has this problem?
