Pay what you want for five games that will run on linux, mac, pc - all DRM free.
I played World of Goo in the past and it's amazing.

I always appreciate when developers publish linux games. If you do too, consider buying.

I hope that Linux users show their appreciation at least as they did for the similar single offer of "World of Goo". That time the statistics proved that Linux user are less tight-fisted.

Oh! DRM-free, cross-platform games! I love things like this. Just added my bit of cash. Too bad that Penumbra won't run on my poor graphics card, and that I've already been enjoying World of Goo for a year. Still, the others look okay, and I love supporting independent game development.

The Linux share is pretty big contra how many users.
Though I have most of the games I paid $20 for a good course. I did not have Aquaria.

For those interested, Penumbra provides another coupon code during installation that will allow you to purchase the rest of the Penumbra series for $5 during the course of this event. One of my house-mates absolutely raves about the Penumbra series, so I may have to do this as well.

If you breezed though the install text, I believe a text-file should still be in the Penumbra folder with the message and the coupon code.

It does look nice, though I was disappointed to see penumbra doesn't work with my video card. Still the other games in the deal would be worth picking up I think - I wasting too much time yesterday playing with the demo for World of Goo. I was wondering the same thing as ChemBro about Aquaria.

Does anyone succeed to play Lugaru? It fails with segmentation fault in libGL.so.1. I've searched the web and found that the version 1.0b would solve it, but even with 1.0c it is giving that. My arch is 64 bits.

Lugaru works fine with Intel (GMA950) on Arch 32 bit, performance seems OK, even on high resolution.

Aquaria is unusable slow already in the menu. I found the following solution in the mailing list (works fine this way):

LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 ./aquaria

Both Gish and World of Goo run perfectly.

Penumbra won't even start with Intel Graphics, at least the Penumbra Collection I purchased when it was on sale last summer doesn't.

Aquaria works well here from chrooted 32bit environment, but as usual I had to disable joystick, since my mouse for some reason always is recognized as a joystick and a mouse at the same time.

Gish works well in 64bit, but I can't get it to save previous state. It always starts from scratch, which is annoying. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Edit: It looks like Gish doesn't look for any .gish/config.txt. It only works well if all files simply are copied to ~/home and run from its directory.

I think its an official release.
