KDE 4.4.3 PKGBUILDs not (yet) working
It seems we got KDE 4.4.3 before it is even available via KDE's own ftp servers. Which in a sense is awesome, of course, but it also means that the PKGBUILDs aren't working, because the sources cannot be downloaded.
Have the devs found a way of getting software from the future? Inquiring minds want to know.

I remember this happening with amarok 2.3, and the devs getting a friendly query from amarok devs to please wait until at least they got a chance to upload the files before the arch devs posted the new version, so... yes, arch developers are beings from our future, coming back to save mankind!

Distroes gets access to the new version ~1w before it's officially released iirc. And the arch devs seem to be exploits that to the fullest.

KDE 4.4.3 should have been released today. See http://techbase.kde.org/Schedules/KDE4/ … _KDE_4.4.3 So I assume it'll be on the kde mirrors very soon. (or they are holding it back for some reason but don't tell anybody ;-))

When KDE will released we will check our checksums with the officials, as ever.
btw, Gentoo, Debian & co. released 4.4.3 yesterday too.
