[extra]: celestia 1.3.1 -> 1.3.2 (finally)

i finally managed to update celestia to 1.3.2 ... trouble was the new qt, the new gcc and some minor trouble with xorg/mesa (mesa must not be installed while celestia is compiling)

enjoy!

Re: [extra]: celestia 1.3.1 -> 1.3.2 (finally)

Yes, I am using qt 3.3.4-5 and kde 3.4.0 (though I don't have full kde installed. I currently have kde-common, kdelibs, kdeadmin, arts, kdebase, kdemultimedia and kdeutils)
Here is the output when I run celestia from the console

[gemini@myhost ~]$ celestia
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
nStars: 112524
(here I do something, like clicking an icon, or opening a file...)
[gemini@myhost ~]$ KCrash: Application 'celestia' crashing...

make sure you load glx in xorg:

in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Section "Module"
        Load  "glx"
...

Thank you very much!
The "load "glx"" line was commented indeed.
Works fine now  big_smile

[damir@Asteraceae ~]$ locate libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0
/usr/lib/libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0.2.4
/usr/lib/libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0
[damir@Asteraceae ~]$ pacman -Qo /usr/lib/libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0
/usr/lib/libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0 is owned by gtkglext 1.0.6-1
