sonata/mpd and firewall

hi smile I use sonata/mpd on my 64 bit machine, i also use ufw/gufw to configure iptables (set to deny by default). I seem to be having problems with sonata downloading cover art for albums and i'm not entirely sure what port to allow for this purpose, any ideas?

I am very sure it uses a normal port 80 http connection. Its getting the covers from http servers, so that seems quite obvious smile

Re: sonata/mpd and firewall

ufw/gufw only controls incoming connection requests. Sonata fetching cover art from a site is an outgoing connection... Hence, your problem is not related to your firewall.
