you are missleading. first you asked about plugins but you give a list with extensions.
so which is it? plugins or extensions?:D
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Same.

I guess we're speaking about add-ons (it makes more sense).
I use Adblock Plus (how can you guys live without that?) and LoL for hints-links-following (like in vimperator).
I tried vimperator sometimes but I prefer uzbl overall.

ngoonee, I raise:
Adblock Plus, DownThemAll, FireFTP, Nightly Tester Tools, Stylish, Zotero, Add-on compatibility reporter, autohide statusbar, Better Privacy, CS LIte, Fission, GoogleSharing, Greasemonkey, gtranslate, Menu Editor, NoScript, NukeAnythingAdvanced, oldbar, OptimizeGoogle, RemoveTapButton, Skipscreen
yikes.
NukeAnythingAdvanced is maybe lesser none but real great for printing. should we extend to userscripts/styles?

I don't use Firefox much anymore, but when I do, I only use Vimperator (how can you guys live without that?). When I'm in Windows, though, I also use NoScript, for obvious security reasons.
I use Adblock Plus (how can you guys live without that?)
By using a hosts file for ad blocking.

Or privoxy.

Don't have much use for many extensions, but like a few others I have gotten used to:
Adblock
NoScript
Stylish
Vimperator (this alone has ruined most other browsers for me)

Privoxy is slow and complex. Hosts file can't block single items and looks bad.

I don't like this approach too much actually.
I prefer Adblock Plus for Firefox and Privoxy for everything else (uzbl).
Edit: @Procyon: I didn't find privoxy to be slow nor complex. Could you elaborate what you mean?
