@froli, i am not concerned but i have an HTC G1 and i used to run cyanogen mod, and i have heard recently that he will bring 2.1 to the G1 if you're interested, its a great mod.

I am running 2.1 already on my GSM Hero 
VilainROM 5.4 ... It's faster than stock 1.5 ROM!! Lovin it so far!
There's no 2.1 ROMs for G1 already?

Just started down the Archlinux road and am really enjoying it. Great wiki's with lots of really easy to understand information.
I started with Openbox but am now running Compiz-Fusion and Emerald.
Instead of a panel I use Stalonetray for my system tray. I then use ADesk-menu to get at my applications from the systray. I also use Alltray to get my applications to dock to the systray by simply prefixing 'alltray' to my ADesk-menu entries.
Currently I am in the process of changing my icons over to the Elementary and Elementary-Monochrome set. Wallpaper is from the Compi-Fusion website IIRC.
Desktop: Compiz Stand Alone w/ Cairo Dock.
Laptop: Pekwm w/ Tint2
Jukebox: MPD w/ cli
Gateway: Vuurmuur w/dialog
