Nautilus CD burner disables gnome-volume-manager

After burning a cd with nautlis cd burner gnome volume manager no longer recognizes new media inserted into my cdrecorder.
If I kill gnome-volume-manager and restart it, it recognizes media again.
Or if I restart HAL it recognizes media.
If I burn with graveman or the CLI it doesn't affect gnome-volume-manager.
This is ARCH 0.7 kernel 2.6.10 all up to date.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Nautilus CD burner disables gnome-volume-manager

I am experiencing a similar problem but have never actually used gnome-volume-manager. I've noticed, gnome-volume-manager does not detect things properly unless I restart it after reboot though... hmm

You mention similar..can you give me some details??
As for gnome-volume-manager, did you add it to your session start apps? Its not started in the default arch gnome session.
