New Audio Issue

I just installed updates about a half hour ago. Now for some strange reason my audio has a high pitched tone that always plays when the output level is set to exactly 40% (internal speakers and headphones alike) No other output level causes this issue.

For information purposes, I have an MSI A6000

From the physics perspective, sounds like resonance. Try turning off your mic?
