Weird problem with Runescape HD (Java OpenGL game)

Well, I can use the Hi Def version of Runescape, and it's almost perfect, except for this one minor but also major (can't play it when it's like that). Hard to see (cursor doesn't show up), but my mouse is on the log in button. Normally, when it's on the button, it's highlighted and it knows that the mouse is on it. In HD, it has no clue where my mouse is. I can click (although since it doesn't know where my mouse is the right click menus and stuff just disappear right when you click, making the game almost unplayable), but it doesn't know where my mouse is hovering. On Low Detail, it's fine.

Edit: Here's a video that shows the bug: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YU4YhCuKmg

Notice the login button is lighter on the second picture (also notice how much better HD looks lol, and it's smoother too...). It doesn't do this on any of my other Arch computers, and changing browsers or Java versions doesn't help. I'm using Nvidia's latest driver, but it did this on ATI with Catalyst too on here. Any ideas? Also sometimes hovering over youtube video menus (like the quality selection one) doesn't work, but only sometimes.
