I was trying to build Freecad form the aur (so I can CAD on linux). One of the dependencies for Freecad is Opencascade.
Each time I try to build opencascade, it starts the process and aborts right after with the following:
--Error: Makepkg was unable to build opencascade package.
I am not sure how to proceed from here.
Please advise.
thanks.

try scrolling back to find the actual error
I just tried it myself and got:
[mick@cave opencascade]$ makepkg -s
==> ERROR: Install scriptlet (opencascade.install) does not exist.

Yeah I noticed that now. Thanks.
I am trying to use yaourt to build it now.
It has been at it for almost 45 minutes now! Is this going anywhere (is this usual)? :S

it took me 5 hours to build up to cascade installed (core 2 duo 2.4ghz, 2GB) only to have freecad fail because wizard.cpp was missing from the d/l tarball.
on the upside I stumbled over the news that my TV capture card is now supported by the kernel while stumbling about for a solution.

I now have freecad built and installed. it starts but I haven't tested it further yet
