xemacs

hi forum,

i have a problem concerning xemacs, i installed xemacs and xemacs-sumo from extra, with that i should have some/all packages for xemacs available. they're installed in /usr//lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/ but i can't use them in xemacs, regardless if i start it as user or root ... any ideas?

thanks

Re: xemacs

I'm not an XEmacs user, but see if evaluating

(add-to-list 'load-path "/usr/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages")

before attempting to load a package helps.

I suspect that this path is not built into XEmacs, and that there's no Arch-specific site-lisp to adjust the load-path.

Re: xemacs

tried that, didn't help ...

i have no idea what else i could do, load-path is set to the proper paths, but xemacs doesn't find any of the sumo packages ...
no one using xemacs here?

i'm back configuring my vim installation for now...
