Bitlbee, need new version

No idea if this is the right forum to say this, or if I should use bug report tool instead.

Bitlbee does no longer work with msn protocol, a new updated version is ready and can be downloaded from their site.

Also, Just want to thank for an overall good distro. It has been like a day online since the new version were avaliable. So I just be a pain in the a**, but incase you just missed it.

I would be really thankful if you completed this asap, since I kinda depend on it smile

Re: Bitlbee, need new version

Hi,

with abs everything is possible wink

See here how to build packages from abs:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ABS … he_ABS_way

you need to edit the version number (and the checksum of the new source file) in the PKGBUILD in that step:

Modify the PKGBUILD...

more information about PKGBUILD's can be found here: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD

Regards

Re: Bitlbee, need new version

You can also install bitlbee-bzr from the AUR. Works great.
