How to configure Network Manager?

I've been able to connect to the internet manually, but haven't been able to use Network Manager to connect. I'm running KDE 4 and I used this tutorial to try to get it configured but with no luck. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NetworkManager#KDE4. I disabled my current network setup, edited the daemons, and yet it still would not work. When I would load NetworkManager, it only gave my the option of VPN such as this: qDLbt.png

Is there any other way of getting my network configured without having me to do it manually on boot up?

Re: How to configure Network Manager?

Did you follow the whole wiki article?
1- You need to be in the network group.
2- Stop the 'network' daemon and start the 'networkmanager' and 'hal' daemons.
3- Disable the network interfaces in /etc/rc.conf

If you have to add yourself to the network group, remember to log out and back in for it to take effect.

Yeah, I made sure to add myself to the network group and did the rest.
