Blacklisting Dmraid components

Hi,

I'm using Arch (and other OSs) on software raid, Dmraid. / is mounted on /dev/mapper/raid_volume_name. But the component hard drives of my raid are still listed as individual drives /dev/sda and b when I fdisk -l.

Is there a way I can prevent system from assigning those drives as /dev/sdx?
