Asus P7P55D EVO + i3: udev hangs forever -> hard reset required

if disable either of the two internal nics or the sound chip in my bios udev will hang and i have no idea why. also my two internal nics as well as my pci-e intel nic are not working. i'm always getting this dreaded:
