[solved] suffix "g2ef10de" at new kernel

I just compiled the 2.6.34.1 kernel twice using my usual pkgbuild that worked flawlessly with 2.6.33.

Now, however, I have the suffix g2ef10de appended to my kernel name so uname -r gives out kernel26-custom-g2ef10de.

In my kernel26-custom.install it reads:
KERNEL_VERSION=2.6.33-nb-g2ef10de

I don't know how that got there.

Any ideas?

Re: [solved] suffix "g2ef10de" at new kernel

Maybe some temp file kernel26-custom-xxxxxxxx?

The x's are substituted by a random characters, so you should get a different suffix every time you compile it - try again and see whether it's the case.

Nope, it's always g2ef10de. I've compiled three times.
I guess I'll just stick with 2.6.33.3-2.

// I've fixed the error though i don't know how, exactly. I believe my custom kernel was the culprit.
What i did was switch to the newest PKGBUILD, install a default makepkg.conf and use the stock arch kernel to compile the other kernels.
