i still can not see any use of this feature... is there any occasion this is really useful? i don't want to offend the OP since this is also a field of my interest... i am just wondering...

I can make it available on the network and get the other computer to accept it but it doesn't show up as yet...

You could have a shared calendar plasmoid or an "idea" plasmoid which everybody could contribute. Who knows what people will come up with once it actually works smile
