[SOLVED] cannot download gcc from any mirrors

Hi there,

I am in the process of installing dependencies for ABS so that I can start building packages. I installed the base-devel package and all downloaded and installed except for gcc. I have tried to download gcc by itself and tried changing download mirrors but just can't fetch ggc whatever I try.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Make sure that the mirror you are using is up-to-date:

pacman -Syu

as you didn't post any output, my guess is that gcc was updated to -2 and you are trying to download -1 because you didn't synced recently.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Copy/paste pacman's output in to your post.
