New entries in wtmp every second

So I was having issues earlier with wtmp eating up my /, figured out how to rotate it out properly with logrotate and assumed I was done with it.

Apparently not, as it turns out my wtmp is getting spammed with several entries a second:

jordan     pts/2        :0.0             Sat May 15 12:26 - 12:26  (00:00)
jordan     pts/2        :0.0             Sat May 15 12:26 - 12:26  (00:00)
jordan     pts/5        :0.0             Sat May 15 12:26 - 12:26  (00:00)
jordan     pts/2        :0.0             Sat May 15 12:26 - 12:26  (00:00)

Is there any way to figure out exactly what's causing all of these new entries? Judging by the :0.0 it's something I run regularly in X11.

Re: New entries in wtmp every second

I cleared my wtmp just before posting, but it's grown quite a lot in a short amount of time.

$ ls -sh wtmp
3.9G wtmp

Re: New entries in wtmp every second

What's your display manager?
What's your DE/window manager?
Do you have a dzen bar or conky or something else you configure via shellscript?

I'm using SLIM with xmonad as my default window manager. I have dzen2 and conky as well as the dzconky script set up.
