I just bought a Logitech Dual Action joypad today and when i try to set the keys in emulators such as snes9x-gtk, zsnes, or vbaexpress, and i input a button from my joypad, the program crashes. I've looked around and it is concluded that it is an sdl issue but i dont know what to do about that. Any help is appreciated. Here are the console messages:
(snes9x-gtk:4194): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "ubuntulooks",

I don't know if this is an appropriate solution, but this thread indicates a similar problem that was resolved by reverting to SDL 1.2.13
Apparently there is some bug in the newer SDL

Here is the wiki on downgrading packages, should you decide to try that:

A new version of SDL was released through pacman today, I don't know if it contains a bugfix for your problem or not.
