Cpufreq_ondemand on x86_64 works fine here on current as of today Arch64.

Same here, that was never an issue for me.
I'm currently using a notebook with a Turion X2 CPU (dual core) and previously used one with a Turion CPU (single core).

How can you say this is fixed? It is not. It doesn't work whith p4-clockmod module, that is, for older intel CPUs.
