problems with 64bit version SOLVED

another thread from me, sorry smile

I am new to Arch, coming from Ubuntu....so, I am having some dificulties

I think this two issues are some kind of related, I run Arch 64bit:

1)starting qjackctl I get this:

[studio@(none) ~]$ qjackctl
qjackctl: error while loading shared libraries: libjack.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32

I first installed Jack2 from AUR (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=22488) and than updated to the package from ArchAudio (http://archaudio.org/packages/), so this can be the cause!?

2)trying to install Ardour (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=17918) from AUR with yaourt I get this:

==> Install or build missing dependencies for ardour-vstlv2:
==> Building and installing package

==> ardour-vstlv2 dependencies:
 - python (already installed)
 - gettext (already installed)
 - pkgconfig (already installed)
 - libtool (already installed)
 - jack-audio-connection-kit (package that provides jack-audio-connection-kit already installed)
 - libxml2 (already installed)
 - libxslt (already installed)
 - libart-lgpl (already installed)
 - libsamplerate (already installed)
 - liblrdf (already installed)
 - glib (already installed)
 - gtk2 (already installed)
 - libgnomecanvas (already installed)
 - liblo (already installed)
 - fftw (already installed)
 - wine (package that provides wine already installed)
 - flac (already installed)
 - ladspa (already installed)
 - libusb (already installed)
 - aubio (already installed)
 - slv2 (already installed)
 - gcc (already installed)
 - boost (already installed)
 - librsvg (already installed)
 - scons (already installed)
==> ERROR: is not available for the 'x86_64' architecture.
Note that many packages may need a line added to their PKGBUILD
    such as arch=('x86_64').
Error: Makepkg was unable to build ardour-vstlv2 package.

Re: problems with 64bit version SOLVED

1- I just installed qjackctl from the official repos (64 bit) and it works fine.
Post the output of `ldd /usr/bin/qjackctl`

2- That package is for i686 only. It suggests trying to add "arch=('x86_64')" in the PKGBUILD but chances are that won't work.

I question you changed the mirror of archaudio from i686 to x86_64, correct?
