I was looking to get a simular configuration / setup on my personal website and mirror it to the Arch Wiki site. I find the Arch Wiki to be neatest and cleanest Wiki's on the web that I have used. Can anyone please tell me what software Arch Wiki uses for the Wiki itself and any tips or add-on's I will need?
Thank you!

mediawiki, you can look at what we use on our projects site.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Thank you! Do you recommend I download the Tarball from their site for Arch or simply install it using Pacman?

If you are installing it on an Arch server, I think you should go for the pacman package unless you need a different version (in which case I'd write a different PKGBUILD)

Sounds good. I am running it fine on my Arch server and installed it via Pacman. Works great!

I wouldn't use that package from community and maintain your own one using git instead. The package has security issues (its outdated) and installs files into the wrong place. (though it might be fine for local use)

It installed 'mediawiki' in /srv/http/ so I am not sure what you refer to about installing stuff in the wrong place. It appears to be a recent build but whatever...I doubt anyone but myself will use my Wiki. It was just something to do...
