Hi,
I just found a tool for undelete files from ext3/ext4: http://extundelete.sourceforge.net/
For me it worked, but I needed to undelete only a config file from an ext4 partition, it wasn't a big deal. Good luck with it.

The best place to put information for helping others is the wiki, not the forums. Cool tip though.
