Need advice for NVIDIA GTX 250 GPU, troubleshoting with vendor

Hi, my boss bought a computer with an NVIDIA GTX 250 GPU, and ASUS motherboard, lots of RAM, etc...

The GPU has two DVI outputs and *none* VGA output, (neither has the motherboard), and the problem is that i'm getting no video at boot so i can't do anything (like installing some linux distro i knew about). Accordings to the beeps i hear from the speaker, it is not a problem the bios can detect.

My boss returned the computer for tech suppourt (i told him to personaly  check that the bios video is working)... he parked in double line, so he was in a hurry ... so after he heared "the GPU is working  perphectly" he put it on the car returned to his office plugged a monitor, and saw no video ....

Now i'm supoused to return the computer with him to see what can I do.

So the question is what can I do?

if i see no video there is almost nothig i can do, i'm not that hardware wise.
I'm planning to take a ubuntu live-cd to see what happens

any suggestion?

The new forum style is *nice*. --Congrats
