Guys, anybody knows if drm-radeon-testing is going to be merged with 2.6.35? New kernel has achieved RC1 state, so maybe there will be update to this version in drm-radeon-testing?

I'm using the i686 repo and no cooler card yet.

The dynamic clock management patches are merged in, imho the voltage control will be in 2.6.36

Are you using the kernel26-drm-radeon-testing kernel from my repo?
I am on kernel26-drm-radeon-testing

I mean - will be drm-radeon-testing based on 2.6.35?
Another question - voltage control is automatically turned on? I'm using RV740 chip.

Another update for the x86_64 repo. I added the patches for tiling support. There should be a performance improvement.
/edit: Uhh, nice speedup with compiz :-) . I played Quakelive for some minutes: works flawless.

Phoronix: Thermal Monitoring Comes To Newer Radeon DRM
This patch, however, will not work for 100% of the R600/R700/Evergreen GPUs as not all OEMs support the actual internal sensor. Most of the Mobility Radeon ASICs also implement a separate ACPI-based thermal monitoring mechanism.
but
# sensors
radeon-pci-0100
Adapter: PCI adapter
temp1: +54.0°C
At the moment i upload the patched kernel.
And don't forget to enable color tiling in your xorg.conf for a performance improvement:
Section "Device"
Identifier "radeonCard"
Driver "radeon"
Option "ColorTiling" "True"
EndSection

Omg, right now I´d post it. xD

@Perry3D: When 2.6.34 passes to core, will you please update the ATi wiki page for the powersaving features ?

Is IgnoreABI option still needed? I mean - is xf86-video-ati-git compiled against xorg 1.8 finally?

the latest mesa-full package from http://gtklocker.tiven.org/radeon-repo/i686/ mesa-full-20100601-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz doesn't seem to have glxinfo compiled within it so fusion-icon didn't load after i upgraded. Had to downgrade to mesa-full-20100519-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz in order for it to work.

Glxinfo is now in mesa-demos-git. It was removed from the mesa master branch.

does mesa-full and mesa-demos-git coexist then?
Offline
Yes, and mesa-demos-git depends on mesa.

I'm getting the follow conflict when trying to install mesa-demo-git
